چکیده

Context. Our study investigates a mini-filament eruption associated with cancelling magnetic fluxes. The originates from small-scale loop complex commonly known as coronal bright point (CBP). event is uniquely recorded in both the imaging and spectroscopic data taken Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS). Aims. investigation aims to gain better understanding of physical processes driving these ubiquitous eruptions. Methods. We analysed IRIS slit-jaw observations well images extreme-ultraviolet channels Atmospheric Assembly (AIA) line-of-sight magnetic-field Helioseismic Magnetic Imager (HMI) on board Solar Dynamics Observatory. As can only indicate possible at play, we also employed non-linear force-free field (NLFFF) relaxation approach based HMI magnetogram time series. This allowed us further investigate evolution structures involved process. Results. identified strong brightening micro-flare CBP, emission chromospheric flaring plasmas. mini-eruption manifested via ejection hot (CBP loops) cool (mini-filament) plasma data. preceded by appearance an elongated feature 1400 Å images, located above polarity inversion line. starts pixel size propagates bi-directionally along feature. detected, spectral AIA data, flows edges feature; believe that represent reconnection outflows. Both wrap around erupting MF evolve into J-type shape, creating sigmoid appearance. A quasi-separatrix layer (QSL) vicinity line computing squashing factor, Q , different horizontal planes NLFFF model. Conclusions. CBP spectro-imaging provides evidence CBPs downscaled active regions and, such, they may make significant contribution mass energy balance solar atmosphere. They are sources all range typical active-region features, including QSLs, (mini-)filament eruptions, (micro-)flaring, outflows, etc. QSL site has same so-called explosive events blue- red-shifted emission, thus providing answer outstanding question regarding true nature this phenomenon.

Observing the release of twist by magnetic reconnection in a solar filament eruption

Magnetic reconnection is a fundamental process of topology change and energy release, taking place in plasmas on the Sun, in space, in astrophysical objects and in the laboratory. However, observational evidence has been relatively rare and typically only partial. Here we present evidence of fast reconnection in a solar filament eruption using high-resolution H-alpha images from the New Vacuum ...

Magnetic reconnection in kinked coronal loops

The resistive dissipation process triggered by the non linear development of the kink instability in a coronal loop is investigated using a three-dimensional MHD code in cylindrical geometry. An equilibrium flux tube carrying a zero net axial current is considered. The magnetic field lines are locally twisted in the central region and inertially anchored at the two photospheric end-plates. When...

Relating magnetic reconnection to coronal heating.

It is clear that the solar corona is being heated and that coronal magnetic fields undergo reconnection all the time. Here we attempt to show that these two facts are related--i.e. coronal reconnection generates heat. This attempt must address the fact that topological change of field lines does not automatically generate heat. We present one case of flux emergence where we have measured the ra...

Forward modeling of the coronal response to reconnection in an X-ray bright point

We present a novel gasdynamic model of the corona and transition region confined by a static flux tube. Our model allows completely general specification of an asymmetric flux tube geometry, so that detailed comparison with observations can be made. Nonlocal effects such as opacity and ambipolar diffusion are important to the transition region; it is shown that these effects can be modeled loca...
